Microsoft SmartScreen & Windows Defender: Our software is published by JL Tools LLC and is signed with a valid code-signing certificate. If you see a SmartScreen warning, it is because our application is newly published and building a reputation history with Microsoft. The software is safe to run. You can verify our publisher identity in the Windows Security dialog.

JL Tools LLC is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JL Tools LLC and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our services or any unauthorized access to your data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of JL Tools LLC services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to JL Tools LLC in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

⚖️ 17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Miami-Dade County, Florida, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitration shall be conducted in English. Each party shall bear its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.

Class action waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
